Over the past few months, we’ve been working on some major improvements designed to help international educators research schools faster, contribute more easily, and get even more value from the ISC community.
Here are five of the biggest updates now live on ISC:
1. Meet Isca — Your AI Research Assistant ✨
Isca is one of the biggest launches in ISC history.
She has learned from more than 55,000 teacher reviews on ISC and can answer questions about schools in seconds — including salaries, housing, workload, school culture, savings potential, and city life.
Instead of scrolling through hundreds of comments, members can now ask Isca a question and get an instant summary.
All members receive 2 free questions per day, while Premium members receive unlimited access.
Premium members can also now chat with Isca directly on WhatsApp: +61 403 112 222
We’ve also launched brand-new City Pages on ISC.
These pages combine comments and insights from educators across all international school profiles within the same city. Members can now explore what teachers are saying about daily life, travel, housing, safety, lifestyle, and the overall experience of living in cities around the world — all in one place.
Instead of researching schools one by one, you can now learn from the combined experiences of educators across an entire city. Click on your favourite city here.
4. A Smarter, Faster ISC on your Device 🔍
Due to the major redesign of ISC, our website is now much faster and easier to use on your device. It has been completely redesigned to make research faster and more intuitive for our members.
Search is now front and centre, your progress toward earning free Premium is visible immediately after login, and recently updated schools now surface automatically so you can quickly discover fresh reviews and new activity. Scroll ISC on your device right now!
5. Your Anonymity Remains Fully Protected đź”’
ISC has always prioritised anonymity and honest sharing.
We want members to know that:
Your comments are never publicly linked to your name
Mayors are never publicly connected to specific schools
Comment topics are structured to encourage constructive, balanced insights rather than unmoderated venting
Your identity and privacy remain protected while helping educators make more informed decisions. This new maximum anonymity mode helps you create an alias user name for you and blocks your real name from being used throughout ISC.
Thank you to everyone who continues contributing to the ISC community. Your reviews, insights, and support are helping international educators around the world make better career decisions every day.
