Stay updated with the latest comments and experiences from The British School of Costa Rica: 22 Apr, 2017 Describe a funny culture shock moment that you've had recently in this city.: There are no addressees here. The school is \"100m north of the end of the main road\". Really. That\'s the official address. Someone recently gave me directions somewhere by telling me to go 300 meters (which is not 300 m, it means 3 blocks) and turn left at the red car that has no tires (which, incidentally, is no longer there, but if you ask around everyone knows where it WAS!). We use google maps or WAZE for everything. Ask for a nearby landmark and plug it into Waze and it will get you close enough!.
