A few rules to help make sure ISC website is a great place for everyone.
International school community is a community of diverse people who have a right to feel comfortable here even if they do not share your views, opinions or beliefs. We encourage you to be polite and respectful in your interactions with others. Agree to disagree if things get heated, move on, and avoid passing judgment, blame, shame or guilt onto others.
You are responsible for anything your say or post. When posting in public areas, we encourage the use of "I" statements for sharing thoughts, opinions, and ideas. The use of "I" statements creates a more non-judgmental environment. Examples of "I" statements are "I think...", "I feel...", and "I believe..."
Make new friends, connect with others, share your thoughts, participate and have fun! This site is here to provide an online meeting place for our community to share their information and opinions and facilitate communication and interaction between its members.
Respect the copyright of others. Don't steal photos, videos or other types of content as pass them off as your own. If you do post content that portrays other people, make sure you have their explicit permission and that they are aware and comfortable with their image or data being posted on this site.
Each section of International School Community is designed with a purpose. Keep the content you post on-topic with the section you are posting to. For example, profiles are meant to let other know about you so that you can make connections within the community. Using your profile space to harass others, promote a business or rant about any unrelated subject is considered off-topic and a violation.
Many sections of the site will include additional rules and guidelines particular to those sections. Be sure to read and follow these rules. They are typically listed on the pages where content is posted or uploaded.
