Stay updated with the latest comments and experiences from American British Academy: 04 Jun, 2023 What controversies have been happening lately? Please be objective.: A recent decision by C. Williamson to terminate a teacher\'s contract two weeks before the end of the year, with little justification or research and above all, threatening to not payout the final salaries if this teacher communicated with students, staff, or parents demonstrates the lack of professionalism and dignity he has. Why not simply allow the teacher to quietly move on at the end of the year? Closing the teacher\'s school email account and access to any Gsuite documents, yet expecting the teacher to complete the end of year reports after saying the teacher cannot return to campus is absolutely bizarre and disrespectful. The tension and gossip this action has provoked among staff simply demonstrates the impulsive decision making and little understanding of true leadership skills he has. There have been a number of other cases where leadership has expected teachers to maintain silence due to leader\'s fear of being challenged on the decisiona should things get out. .
