Stay updated with the latest comments and experiences from Roong Aroon International School: 19 May, 2023 Describe the city's weather at different times of the year.: It is ALWAYS hot, except for maybe 1 week of the year. From late March - mid May, it is hot hot hot and as close to \"dry\" as Thailand gets (which is not very close). Mid-May through July/August is the rainy season - daily heavy showers for 30-60 mins, timing rotates around the clock (so for awhile it\'s the morning, then shifts to the afternoon, then the evening). Things are damp, muddy, hot, humid. The rain cools it down momentarily, but then it heats up again with a lot of humidity. August-January is hot, a bit windy, sometimes rainy, and air quality can be problematic. February is the \"cool\" month (if you\'re lucky - climate change makes all of this erratic at best nowadays). So hottest can be 40C+, coolest around 23C. Every now and then it makes it down to 20C and we all think we\'re going to freeze to death ... Thais will put on their puffy jackets and wear sweaters. We enjoy those \"cold\" days!.
