I am moving to Guatemala City for the next two years to teach at the American School of Guatemala\u2026.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/internationalschoolcommunity.files.wordpress.com\/2011\/05\/20070115_gsmz16_005.jpg?w=320&#038;h=240&#038;fit=320%2C240&#038;resize=320%2C240\" alt=\"\" width=\"320\" height=\"240\" \/><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/kellyseagraves.blogspot.com\/2007\/04\/3rd-grade.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Finding out more about the position<\/a><br \/>\n\u201cI found out this week that I will be teaching 3rd grade next year in Guatemala. I am very excited about this for many reasons\u2026.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/kellyseagraves.blogspot.com\/2007\/06\/official-goodbye.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The official goodbye<\/a><br \/>\n\u201cFriends and family! I leave in 3 days!! AHH! I am very excited! I have had a wonderful time with all of my friends and family over this last month. It has flown by, but I am ready and I know that I am supposed to make this move to Guatemala\u2026.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/kellyseagraves.blogspot.com\/2007\/07\/antigua-guatemala.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">One of the first adventures in the host country<\/a><br \/>\n\u201cThe volcano was INCREDIBLE! Volcan Pacaya is still very active and we were able to walk up to the flowing lava\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/kellyseagraves.blogspot.com\/2007\/07\/my-first-couple-of-days.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The first week<\/a><br \/>\n\u201cMy first week in Guatemala has flown by. Since I actually have some time to sit, relax and reflect I figured I would let y\u2019all hear about my journey so far. I arrived on Monday July 2<sup>nd<\/sup> and was met by two men from the American School where I will be teaching.
