Have you ever heard that international teachers should really stay longer their initial 2 year contract at an international school?\u00a0 I have heard this many times from other international school teachers.\u00a0 They say that it is what international school are really looking for because it says that you are one that will \u201cstay awhile\u201d at your new placement.\u00a0 Sometimes it is not possible to stay for longer than 2 years, other times you surprise yourself and stay longer and it is year 5 before you know it.\u00a0 I don\u2019t think you have much to worry about if you only stay at your school for 2 years, but I will say that it doesn\u2019t hurt if you have a few of your placements last longer than 4 years.<\/p>\n
