A few entries that we would like to highlight:<\/p>\n It’s Cold Weather Again<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n \u201cLast time I wrote about\u00a0how nice the weather<\/a>\u00a0was. That was after it rained. I don\u2019t think I did a good job of sharing how crazy the rain was. Now it\u2019s cold (it\u2019s been in the high 30s and low 40s a couple mornings when I\u2019ve gone running!)\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n It is all about perspective when living in a different country. What one person thinks is cold, another person might think it is not THAT cold!<\/i><\/p>\n It is good to know that in the Middle East, the weather can get a bit chilly in the winter. Many people might just think it is hot all year round.<\/em><\/p>\n Luckily, we have a comment topic in the City Information section of all school profile pages that is about weather. \u00a0It is called – “Describe the city’s weather at different times of the year.” \u00a0We currently have 140 separate comments (about a number of international schools) in that comment topic on our website.<\/em><\/p>\n Siblings in Kuwait – Spring Break 2013<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n \u201cOne of the deals we are giving our 5 siblings is a trip (once) to visit us.\u00a0Abby<\/a>\u00a0is here for the semester subbing and Andrew came to visit for his Spring Break! Shannon was studying abroad in Barcelona so they met up in Kuwait. It was a memorable week for all! (see\u00a0Shannon\u2019s post<\/a>\u00a0for proof)<\/p>\n There was a little miscommunication\u00a0..Shannon arrived on Friday, March 22nd and Andrew arrived 24 hours later. Luckily we like Shannon so it worked out just fine\u2026\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n What a great idea!<\/i><\/p>\n I always say…if you got a friend or family member living abroad somewhere, it would be a SHAME not to go visit them and that country!<\/p>\n Not all family members are able though to have the free time to go on a trip to visit you. \u00a0Many also are not able to afford it either. \u00a0So, how nice to pay for their trip for them!
