New Photo Contest: The Street You Live On (All entries win free premium membership!)

How is the street you live on??

Is it interesting to look at? Inspiring to walk on?

Maybe it is full of trees and greenery, or maybe it is lined with apartment buildings that all look the same.

Where an international teacher lives is important, but you don’t always initially get what you are looking for…your dream neighborhood.

But some international school teachers luck out and find the perfect area to live in which matches their hopes and dreams.

Even if it is not on your dream street, wherever you live often becomes your home. And when you live in a certain area for 1+ years, that area creates many fond memories of that time in your life.

At ISC, we are really curious to see the streets our members are living on. The next time you leave for or come back from work, take a picture with your smartphone of the street that you live on. We’ll have a vote and then chose the top 3 photos that are the most interesting to win the photo contest prizes!

So, what is your best of the street you live on? Submit your photo to us and enter our photo contest! All participants receive free premium membership to our website!

48 hours of Premium Membership Promotion: Right now EVERY member on our website has premium membership access for 48 hours. Just log on and enjoy free, full access to our website.
* This 48 hours free promotion will expire on 15 September, 2020 (11:59pm PST)

Don’t forget to submit comments during this time (which are done so anonymously, by the way) because during the next 48 hours you can get EXTRA premium membership added your account.

Normal members get 1 month of premium membership added to their account for every 10 comments they submit, but for the next 48 hours, they can get even more!

Here’s how it will work:
• Submit 40-59 comments = 6 extra months will be added to your account
(for a total of 10-11 months of premium membership!)
• Submit 60+ comments = 12 extra months will be added to your account
(for a total of 18+ months of premium membership!)

** This submitting-comments promotion will expire on 14 September, 2020 (11:59pm PST). Photo Contests

New Photo Contest: Best Winter Vacation Envy (All entries win free premium membership!)

One of the best parts of living abroad is taking the vacation of your dreams during the winter holiday break.  Of course many of us go home for the holidays, and that is nice too!  Some teachers do a combination of going home to visit family and then taking another side vacation for some real rest and relaxation. It is possible that your trip to visit your family is also the trip of your dreams (well at least maybe for your colleagues that have never been there).

Once the winter holiday break starts, now comes all the photos that your friends post on Facebook and Instagram. Australia, Canary Islands, Costa Rica, etc. Leaving you maybe second guessing the trip that you actually decided long ago to do for yourself (and your partner/family).

So, if you are on one of those trips that is making your friends feel a bit envious, take a moment to participate in our new photo contest. Please note that all photo contest participants will win free premium membership to our website!
