Stay updated with the latest comments and experiences from School of the Nations (Brasilia): 01 Dec, 2022 How does this school handle emergency situations (e.g.COVID-19, etc.)?: We went online from March to June, and then hybrid the next school year, 6 months(ish). The pandemic was taken seriously. The school paid for foreign staff to receive online therapy/counseling if they wanted, which was really nice. Pay was not cut. Contracts were honored.
While Nations mostly handled the pandemic well, they fired all Brazilian staff in June 2020 that marked they were high-risk on a survey we filled out in May 2020. It wasn\'t advertised that way, but we all knew that\'s what happened. It was upsetting and destroyed morale. .
