Stay updated with the latest comments and experiences from Qsi - Kyiv International School: 03 Nov, 2019 Detailed info about lifestyles: singles vs. couples, gay vs. straight, nightlife vs. quiet and big city vs nature.: It is possible to find any kind of activities you want here. There is a lot of nightlife, but also easy access to large parks and nature. Buying or renting a car will allow opportunities to get out into the country and really experience nature, if desired. Cisgender and heterosexual singles, couples, and families are all able to make a nice life in this community. However, I would not say that Kyiv is a comfortable place for same-sex couples or members of the LGBTQ community in general. There has been some progress in this area, but I do not get the sense that the country has come far enough to say it is safe for members of the LGBTQ community to live openly. .
